Wandering Wednesday

We've had some amazing weather so far this spring, and I've been out and about to capture it with my Canon. These photos show how very blue and clear it's been, so I didn't want to alter them at all. photo IMG_3881_zpsc0b3956e.jpg photo IMG_3877_zpsc5baa86e.jpg photo IMG_3876_zpsee1356e4.jpg photo IMG_3874_zpsb4e7cf63.jpg

Park It

As part of my Sonoma adventure over the weekend, C and I visited the Jack London State Historic Park. It was really magnificent, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for something a little different but equally as beautiful as the usual vineyard experience. It also helps if you like history and reading...but even if you're not familiar with Jack London (eh hem), you should still go because it's gorgeous and we have to keep up our state parks! 4 @ ) ! z 3 - 2 / Photobucket 2

Yosemite

What better time to visit Yosemite National Park than over Veteran's Day weekend when the park is free of charge and free of summertime crowds?? Here are some snapshots of the adventure.

Early morning drive, alternating between very excited and very cool. It was a gorgeous drive into the park.

Everything was stunning.

Very excited to be there!

We hiked to Mirror Lake, but it was more like Mirror Puddle :-/ A scary woodsman emerged from the shadows there.

Then he tried to pet the dear! I advised against it...

Then, the fog started to roll in. We're used to that!

Well, until next time.
