Tiger Tales

Wandering around on Halloween, I came upon a lonely circus tiger roaming the streets of San Francisco.

He was performing circus tricks without any audience at all.

Sometimes they worked out...

Other times they didn't...

In any case, he needed a friend.

But could he be around crowds, or in a moving vehicle, or would he spook?

So, I decided to see if he was tamable. He was reluctant at first. But, in time he grew more comfortable...

until he broke free and came into his own, dancing and mingling as if he weren't any different from everyone else.

The moral of this story, boys and girls, is that while you should always be cautious about playing with wild animals, sometimes they surprise you in very good ways.

Don't Haight!

All kinds of quirky strangeness in the Haight!

I only wish I could've captured more of it. But I traipsed up and down the neighborhood in search of pieces for my Halloween costume and came away with a couple of pretty select items. Looking forward to wearing them out in a couple of weeks. In the meantime, here's a little photo collage of my escapades.
