Let's Go Giants

As part of an amazing effort by Futures Without Violence, volunteers with the organization were invited onto the field at Giants Stadium to highlight the importance of ending domestic violence. Here are my photos from the afternoon!
  Got my gear.   RESPECT! Getting ready to hit the field. Here we go!   I am very excited about this and feeling like a bit of a rock star at this point, I'm not gonna lie haha   The Giants warm up and line up for the national anthem. The Dodgers have to warm up too!   Did that just happen?? Kayaks waiting for stray balls in McCovey Cove. Now, let's watch the Giants beat the Dodgers!

A White Buffalo, Loose in SOMA

It's almost Thanksgiving! But before I become fully consumed in the holiday spirit and way too many carbs, I thought I'd post some snapshots from a little trip we took south for dinner in the Mission and to hear The White Buffalo at Slim's in SOMA. He has such an amazing voice. I attempted to capture it here.

Slide at the Google offices in San Francisco. So fast! Let me tell you, if I worked there, I would weigh 300 pounds. There is SO much delicious free food. And a slide. And a game room. And a massage therapist. Sigh...

Brunch + Browsing

I've been a little lax with posting, but that's because I've been out there exploring! I'll be playing a little catch-up here with alllll of the pictures I've been snapping everywhere.

Weekend brunch (with bottomless mimosas!) at Ironside and shopping at Jeremy's in SOMA. I heart weekends.

Lychee + Roy's

I never thought my love for Lychee Martinis could be matched in another drink, but last night at Roy's in SOMA, that love was challenged with a Lychee Caiprihina. Wait...what?! you ask. It's true. There does exist a drink that combines the amazingness of lychee with the mudled-fruity goodness of the Caiprihina. Yum!

Warning: this might be a touch too sweet for you if you're the kind of person who chooses pie over cake, or leaves the frosting from a cheap sheet cake on the side of your plate.

In the end, the Lychee Martini is still at the top of my list, despite a somewhat sordid history involving the compulsory actions borne of too much lychee and too much martini... Anyway, the next time you're at Roy's, give the Lychee Caiprihina a try. It's actually a little bit tart, and very delicious!
