China Camp

China Camp State Park is located only a few miles outside of San Francisco and was home to a Chinese fishing village in the late 1800's.
In all honesty, I had hoped there would be a bit more to explore, but the weather discouraged me from getting too adventurous (read: walking down to the water's edge and looking at the dock). But like most things, I think it would be worth a second look on a lovelier day.

Park It

As part of my Sonoma adventure over the weekend, C and I visited the Jack London State Historic Park. It was really magnificent, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for something a little different but equally as beautiful as the usual vineyard experience. It also helps if you like history and reading...but even if you're not familiar with Jack London (eh hem), you should still go because it's gorgeous and we have to keep up our state parks!
