Well, I'm back from Palm Springs and recovering from my first half-marathon yesterday (more on that to come). I thought I'd share a few snapshots from our desert shenanigans until I upload everything onto my computer. Happy Monday!

Feel the Burn

I know I shouldn't be complaining about the rain when there was a high of 64 today, but all of this soggy weather makes me long for dry heat. I was at the drugstore today and the man behind the counter was complaining about two days of rain in a row, and it occurred to me how quickly I am transitioning back to my old California ways. "Indeed!" I agreed, and then I stepped back outside (and my hair grew to twice its size), and I thought about how happy I was that it wasn't raining ice chips like during my last four March's. Is that the plural of March??

Anyway, I plan to fall asleep with visions of Palm Springs in my head. Here is a picture I took the last time I was down there, minus me stupidly frying in the sun.
