Beachy Keen

Having explored Point Reyes National Seashore, we decided to veer a little and check out the long stretch of beach that leads off the point and wraps around the coast in what looks like miles and miles of untouched earth. Here are some photos from a cold and windy day on at The Great Beach.   This thing was a piece of art. Unfortunately, I had trouble capturing it in all of its glory due to the light.     What is that on the dune?    He's up to all kinds of things today...    Let's see if he'll chase this stick, too...    Time to mellow out. Light it Up

Point Bonita is only a few short miles from San Francisco. You can see the lighthouse from the city, jutting out on the point into the sea. After AGES of not exploring it, I finally decided it was time, and we made the quick trip across the Golden Gate Bridge out to what seemed like another world.   Don't look down...
