If you live in San Francisco and you haven't bought your Christmas tree yet, go to the
Guardsmen Tree Lot at Fort Mason to pick one up. They have all kinds of different sized tress, an open bar and free popcorn, and a couple of bouncy castles for the kids (or the kid in you). I'll leave out the details of the drunkard who warned me against getting a tree that looked like a "fat chick who couldn't get a date." I thought those stubby trees were adorable!

German car, German tradition...it makes sense.
And...ta-da!!! Isn't it cute? This tree could definitely get a date with another Christmas tree. That guy was nuts!
