"The Critic holds up a mirror. The Trickster holds up a window. The Magician turns it into a door. And the Weirdo jumps through it."

How Weird Street Faire is coming to the Financial District (I can't bring myself to call it the "FiDi") this weekend. Should be very...weird haha! Anything that bills Howard Street as a "mythical realm" has got to be interesting. With nine stages for music, art and performances, costumes and dancing encouraged, hula hoops for sale and complimentary bicycle parking...how could you go wrong?
The intersection of Howard + 2nd Street will "be transformed into a Paxorium," which apparently means a place of peace. I think the best part is that "unlike the mythical realms of our imagination, this place of peace really exists." There is a requested $10 donation, but in exchange you will get a Magic Sticker "that is potentially worth many times that amount" (for instance, it comes with free batteries). Will I see you there?
